AI Art is Controversial

We understand that the use of AI generated art is somewhat controversial, so some people wonder why we would use it. In the short time we have been in business, we’ve had several of art related roadblocks. Finding artist with the bandwidth to work with us for one-off labels has proven difficult. We’ve hired four different artist to date for creating labels, but finding the perfect stylistic fit and building a long term relationship has eluded us.

When we have hired artist, we’ve still found that rapid prototyping with AI is a convenient way to show them our thoughts and ideas for how the label art might look. For inhouse beers, especially one-offs that will never be canned, it isn’t financially or temporially possible to go through the normal art process.

We are on the lookout for the perfect digital artist to work with us, but until then we will continue to use AI Art. If you know someone that you think would be interested, please have them visit our brewery.
